That's not a Dodge, that's a Fiat!
That's not a Dodge, that's a Fiat! I hear this every day, usually with a couple of curse words thrown in. Its starting to get old, yes Chrysler is owned by an Italian company, but did you know that Toyota was actually planning to buy Chrysler, I think we lucked out on that one. As of January 21, 2014 Fiat owns all of Chrysler, that includes all of its brands, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT, and Mopar. A lot of people complain without actually knowing the facts, Fiat saved Chrysler, it's that simple. The quality of vehicles has improved drastically over the previous years when owned by the German Daimler. The easiest way to prove this is to look at the interior quality of the Dodge Charger, the 2006-2010 model uses cheap and hard plastics for the entire interior, the 2011+ models have beautifully crafted interiors and you actually feel comfortable in the vehicle. People often complain about the new Dart, saying Fiat ruined it by using an iconic name for a four door economy car. Well in case you forgot the majority of Dodge Darts sold in the 70's were the 4 door model with the 225 slant six. People pick and choose what they want to hear and what they want to accept as fact, but please use your head. It's not the 60's and 70's anymore, cars change over time, they evolve and they will continue to evolve. You can't put a Hemi in every single car you sell, every car you sell can't be a two door muscle car coupe. Chrysler is a company and they must do what makes them money, and Fiat is doing a hell of a job making Chrysler money. So please next time you complain about Fiat owning Chrysler remember it could be worse, very worse, you could be driving a Toyota...
